I appreciate play. At the center of my art practice is an obsession with process, as well as the systems and performances that inform it. I consider the idea of a ‘final product’ to be secondary; the experience of creativity and play is my primary intrigue. In my process-led practice, I guide materials through a reiterative performance of interrogating, documenting, and packaging. I explore the artist's persona as something implicated in this ideal of a final, presentable product. By playing with systems of art practice, I perform the artist’s persona.
