My artwork exposes the harmful, often overlooked side effects of female birth control. Despite their role in reproductive health, these products carry life-threatening risks that are frequently ignored. Using oil on canvas and pen on paper, I highlight the silent suffering of many women. The juxtaposition of detailed painting and repetitive text symbolizes the discord between the intended benefits of birth control and its devastating consequences. This work urges a broader conversation about the need for safer, more transparent options for women's health, challenging the narrative that these side effects are merely minor inconveniences.
