Natasha Lin
My project, 'Urban Talk' encompasses a series of mugs assisted by packaging, brochures and posters addressing poor urban planning in a community town hall setting. Leveraging the mugs as a "universal drinking ritual", I bridge non-profit organisations, local councillors and residents to foster healthy discussions, generating strategies for sustainable urban planning. I am an objects and graphic designer specialising in ceramics and spatial interventions. The intertwined nature of 2D and 3D visual elements enables me to create accessible, functional products that aim to unite and benefit local communities' lives whilst provoking personal reflections among individuals.
