A&D ANNUAL 2022

Anisha Sawaid

‘MODU’ is a modular furniture configuration designed for use within gallery and museum settings to showcase small to medium sized objects, artworks, and artifacts. Focusing on the ethical design theme of sustainability, ‘MODU’ aims to reduce waste from temporary exhibitions. Modularity is at the focus of this project, with the set allowing for over 12 different configurations. This is achieved by removing and adding joints or faces, as well as stacking and re arranging the forms in different positions.
