Anna Pettifer

Anna Pettifer's practice sits at the intersection of graphic and interaction design while obtaining a focus on activism. Anna's work as a designer looks at social issues and how design thinking can address them. Anna’s major work project 'Lost in the Pages' explores sexism in non-fiction writing. The project is a graphic exhibition - proposed to be held at the State Library of NSW - which highlights the use of he/him pronouns as representative of humanity in books. Anna uses analogue making skills to carve out book pages, revealing the people behind the words that fail to represent them.
