A&D ANNUAL 2022

Katherine Wu

Katherine Wu harnesses the transformative abilities of design to improve the livelihoods of people nation-wide. She interrogates existing service-delivery models like Centrelink, and uses human-centered design methods including co-design and design consultation to enable citizens to play a part in designing the systems and services which affect their lives. Through this, she translates complex systems into seamless experiences that put people first. The resulting solutions include a booking system, a centralised information repository, and all the steps in-between. As a result, this project enables social-services to fulfill their primary mission: to support people.
