Responding to the challenge of climate change, 'Future Fable' combines possible dystopian and utopian futures in a climate fiction depicted in 32 illustrated tarot cards. The card deck is designed to change attitudes and behaviours from inaction to action through an interactive fiction that reflects on the impacts of climate change for disadvantaged communities. Designed to evoke empathy, the cards tell a story about an Australian climate refugee in the year 2150. Through identifying with others, the 'Future Fable' tarot card game encourages young adults to reflect on how they can create the future they want and take initiatives towards building that future.
