Xiao Yu

Xiao Yu (Iris) is a jewellery designer-maker, creating wearable objects that combine multidisciplinary mediums. Passionate about handcrafts, her work explores the possibilities and limitations of handmaking, and aims to revive traditional crafts. Conceptually, Xiao draws her inspiration from nature and philosophical concepts such as 'Individual uniqueness', 'existentialism', and 'relationships.' She hopes these ideas can be translated through the work of her hands and become evocative and inspirational for others.
