Circular Life (2020)

A&D ANNUAL 2020

Yi Mu

Beijing is a highly developed city with a crowded community, leading to a shortage of public resources. Busy community residents have a low sense of responsibility for the use of public space, leading to the decline of the community environment, thus reducing residents’ quality of life. Yi Mu’s design project considers the sustainable use of shared space in the Beijie Jiayuan community, by enabling people to understand and protect the environment through sustainable devices and interactive functions. ‘Circular Life’ is a machine for processing paper goods and is designed to be connected to a mobile app. The target users, based on their families, can jointly use an account to recycle paper goods, and the process from quantification to quality can be completed.
