Mist Herder, 2023
Water equipment; UNSDGs 6; Clean Water and Sanitation.
'Mist Herder' is a water management assistant project in remote pastoral areas for Han herdsmen in Mongolia. It is a vapor collection device designed for swift installation on commuter vehicles such as cars and bicycles. It collects moisture from the air during travels and gathers the captured water at rest stops. This process mimics the herding practices of nomadic herders. 'Mist Herder' draws inspiration from the livestock management methods of Chinese nomadic tribes, bringing them into the daily lives of urban dwellers. By promoting collective efforts, it contributes to achieving SDG Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation.
