This work explores Western pubic depilation/ornamentation trends, and commercial notions of beauty. The mini-merkins emphasise the absurd redundancy of numerous beauty products, and question our social obedience and consumeristic compliance to mainstream media’s influence and control. Human hair, cotton fabric/thread, paper, plastic.
