Good Mourning
This work is based on the notion of remembrance. How do we remember people we care for and love? traditionally hair is used but I took a new direction, to wear another persons signature. A signature is as good as a finger print. it is the representation of both a persons name and their personality, poured into the words as they attempt to make their mark on the page. A signature can start a war or make peace. The piece live on as necklaces, given to every member of my class at the time.
