This installation consists of 401 origami fortunetellers laid out in a square. I the middle is the child performer Philomena McDonald. Philomena is holding a larger fortuneteller that holds photos of four women who will impact upon her life and decisions, directly and indirectly. She is surrounded by blank fortunetellers which represent the decisions she will make in the future. The work reflects how we as individuals are influenced by others along with our decisions, their influence reverberates through our lives.
