The world of Illumina is broken up into three primary sections, covering the physical spectrum of the planet – land, water and sky. This painting represents the interconnected nature of these geographical elements and how they are distinct parts of the same whole. Similarly, each section or ‘tier’ can be separated from this image and seen as a separate entity, each with unique characteristics and properties.
