Francis Nay

Francis Nay's artwork has developed into a consummate mix of practice in digital drawing and audiovisual work. His interest in illustration is influenced from Neo-Futurist concept artists like Syd Mead and John Harris, specifically in how they imagine proximate futures and speculate on large-scale transitions changing the world around us. Francis' work registers with this idea by attempting to tell stories that frame probabilities and recognise individual livelihoods being affected, in a sensory mis-en-scene that viewers can visit and meditate on.
