Holly Siles

Holly Siles is an emerging Sydney-based artist on a journey of exploration through self-regarding works. Inspired by her training in design, Holly uses sculptural textiles, multimedia, and drawings to share intimate familial stories. Her more recent works are drawn from the perspective of an older, larger woman who intends to invite quiet contemplation on uncomfortable topics around life and death with the hope to spark a conversation and further consideration from the audience. Aesthetic appeal is important with texture playing a major role in her works and colour is most often reserved for purposes of disruption.
