Melissa Kahl

Melissa Kahl is a Northwest Sydney-based artist who has a deeply introspective relationship to her artmaking. Drawing inspiration from her personal experiences, Melissa uses her art to explore her place in the world through a whimsical and aesthetically-driven practice. Enraptured by flowers and their symbology, her works incorporate elements of myth and folklore to tell stories that capture the audience’s imagination—stories that emerge from deep within to (re)interpret her life as it is lived.
