‘Drips from the Ether’ evokes nostalgic joy through surrealist exploration, using automatic drawing to merge dreamlike imagery and natural affinities. These dreamscapes balance classical architecture and historical symbolism, and are abruptly juxtaposed with reductive renderings and intense patterns. Seemingly disparate subjects from the subconscious are interlinked through recurring motifs and subtle pattern variations. Originating from imagination, the works resist strict realism, freeing light, scale, and space from conventional rules to create malleable planes of reality. ‘Ether’ signals a metaphysical inquiry into unseen realms beyond time and space. Anchored by symbolic animals, these paintings become meditations on the subconscious, spirituality, and natural affinity.
