Akshata Iyer

Akshata Iyer’s practice investigates ethical decision-making in everyday urban life, focusing on how people adapt their actions based on immediate circumstances. Her project on situational pragmatism examines the subtle negotiations individuals make between personal convenience and collective responsibility within overcrowded public spaces. Through user-centred research and interactive design, Akshata explores the tension between moral intention and practical action. Her work transforms ordinary dilemmas, like excessive honking in traffic, into opportunities for reflection, encouraging viewers to consider how context shapes ethical choices in the everyday rhythm of city life.
