Amelia Walley

Amelia Walley is a multidisciplinary designer specialising in experience design and textiles design, guided by values of curiosity, expression, sustainability, and inclusion.

‘Felt Noise’ is an experiential installation that invites visitors to step inside an abstract representation of a neurodivergent mind. It explores the invisible struggles of neurodiverse individuals in a world designed for neurotypical norms and of binary ideas of ability. Inside a plain exterior structure, felted textiles, dynamic lighting, and hidden messages evoke a layered, sometimes chaotic, yet deeply personal sensory landscape. This experience could evoke awe or even overwhelm, but ultimately fosters empathy, reflection, and deeper understanding.
