Amy Wu

Amy Wu is a digital illustrator and animator who is passionate about bringing stories to life with visual imagery. 'The Shape of Absence' comprises five looping animated illustrations exploring the contrasting societies of a dystopian, cyber future. It examines the potential loss of humanity, the absence of identity, whilst retaining only the faint outline, the ‘shape’, of what life once was. The five completed illustrations represent a different perspective in a cyber society: Preservation of Life, Abandoned Androids, Overuse of Technology, Changes in Art and Humanity, and Expansion to Space.
