Anna Alexanderova

Anna Alexanderova's practice is informed by a personal history shaped by life under an authoritarian regime. Through textiles, installation, and drawing, she explores themes of control, inherited trauma, and resistance. Her works often centre on the body as a site of tension—fragmented, suspended, or obscured. Merging material labour with political unease, Anna creates charged visual spaces that reflect on systems of power and the psychological landscapes they produce.
