Caitlyn Dixon

Caitlyn Dixon is a Christian, interdisciplinary artist working across moving image, textiles, performance, and collaborative art making practices. Her works are relational in nature, charting connections with tenderness and intimacy as a way to interrogate and caress human relationships. Coming from studies in politics and international relations, her works incorporate qualitative research processes through collaborative art making events. Her collaborations serve as research focus groups, pursuing the building and deepening of community and friendship. Rather than trying to extract an output, Caitlyn relies on the ideas and insights of her community to inform a nuanced narrative for her work.
