Jennifer Fernandez’s painting practice informs her approach to the process of expanded photography to explore how the female aging body expresses agency in urban spaces. 'It Is Not How I Look, It Is How I Look’ aims to claim control over the visualisation of the older woman by reflecting her view of the world instead of the world’s view.
