Jordan Dempsey

Jordan Dempsey’s practice explores how we inhabit and move through space, using subtle gestures to reshape the conditions of encounter. Working across installation, sculpture, video, performance, and site-specific interventions, his work resists spectacle in favour of quiet shifts in attention. Jordan’s work blurs the boundaries between art and life, reframing the exhibition space as one of ambiguity, interruption, and participation. Grounded in subtlety as a radical act, Jordan’s work aims to unsettle expectations of authorship and value, proposing art as contingent, relational, and inseparable from the lived conditions in which it takes place.
