Kalana Grace

Kalana Grace's practice explores the dynamics of power, intimacy, and transformation through installation and performance. Working with materials including latex, metal, and light, their work abstracts the aesthetics and logics of kink to create immersive environments that invite viewers to experience tension, vulnerability, and release. By engaging the senses and the body, Kalana’s installations imagine spaces that resist patriarchal and heteronormative structures, offering moments of queer possibility and self-discovery. Their recent works investigate how abstraction and embodiment can coexist to evoke emotional and political transformation.
