Katia Esposito's practice explores the complexities of femininity, power, and self-representation. Combining editorial photography, screen printing, and text, Katia investigates how beauty, desire, and aging are framed through a cultural lens that often constrains women. Using CMYK screen printing and repetition, her work reflects on how societal expectations and gendered language continue to shape perceptions of female identity. Drawing on metaphors from the natural world, particularly the life cycle of flowers, Katia's images balance vibrancy and vulnerability, challenging viewers to question inherited narratives and recognise the resilience embedded within feminine experience.
