Lily Evans

Lily Evans is an emerging artist working on Gadigal Land, specialising in sculpture, ceramics, and printmaking. Her practice focuses on studying the body as a site of transformation, tension, and resistance. She engages with feminist theory to question how bodies have been regulated and embraces the grotesque as a tool, reframing the body from one that is contained and fixed to one that is leaky, fragmented, and in flux. Through material experimentation, Lily’s practice distorts and exaggerates the human form to challenge ideals of beauty and bodily order.
