‘Fading Coastlines’ is a multisensory and immersive exhibition that uses storytelling to highlight the issue of coastal erosion. The exhibition features a range of ceramic vessels that echo the textures and forms of eroded cliff faces, offering a visual and tactile representation of the effects of coastal erosion. The ceramics are accompanied by a short video that combines film and poetry to provide a thought-provoking narrative concerning the relationship between the actions of the audience and the effects of climate change on the environment. The exhibition engages the senses through touch, sound, and lighting to cultivate an immersive experience.
