Imagine being able to touch, feel, and hear the ocean. Sienna Papalia’s design project ‘Five Minutes at the Deep Blue’ brings this experience to life through interactive scarves and an immersive picture book. The scarves use textured waves, felt, and silk to evoke the sea, while the book follows Mia, a young girl guided by a sparkling light into an ocean adventure. Created for children with diverse learning needs, the calm, inclusive space encourages touch, imagination, and play.
