Tash Brobyn

Tash Brobyn is a multidisciplinary artist living and working on unceded Wangal, Gadigal, and Bidjigal Land. Playing with a variety of mediums including ceramics, painting, and zines, their practice explores queerness across the realms of biology, science fiction, and fantasy. Their works focus on themes of dichotomies, dissolution of binaries, and metamorphosis, often exploring their own experiences of gender, sexuality, and neurodivergence through a speculative fictional lens. Tash is fascinated by all things living, especially the inherent queerness of nature and how it resists fixed categorisation. In his work, he creates strange little creatures to reflect this.
