Vanessa Sebel
Vanessa Sebel’s design practice is rooted in repair, reconstruction and revaluing the discarded. ‘House of Redone’ emerged from a desire to challenge fast fashion waste through hands-on, accessible solutions. Developed as a series of DIY renovation kits, this project transforms old garments into functional, personal bags. The process of unpicking, reshaping, and reimagining has shaped Vanessa’s approach, where making becomes a tool for agency, storytelling, and change. Centred on circular design and creative empowerment, ‘House of Redone’ encourages users to reconnect with their clothes, embrace imperfection, and take part in a slower, more intentional form of fashion.
