‘How Will You Read Me’ is an interactive pop-up book that uses AR technology and smartphone cameras to create immersive experiences. Drawing from Yaqi Han’s personal experiences, the work shares his inner world as a person living with bipolar disorder. Combining 2D animation, 3D modelling, Live2D techniques, and physical acrylic interactions, Yaqi blends the virtual and the real through visuals, sounds, and scents. By scanning the QR code to access the corresponding interface and directing their camera at the image linked to that code, viewers can experience the fusion of virtual and real elements brought to life through AR technology.
